Do you think the descent would suit me if I only make an espresso each morning and don’t have the time to mess around and tweaking the shots? I’m looking for easy repeatability and consistency. Is there a profile that can “save” a shot automatically by lowering the flow rate or pressure if my grind is slightly off for example? I have used E61:s for 15 years. Currently on a Lelit Bianca.

Which exact wall Basket are you using in this video ? And what is the exact grind settings ? My range lever isn’t going up when I use the single wall basket unless I switch to duo. I can’t seem to figure it out.

Absolutely will not consider. Would not use their grinder. Will not use their pod or dripper. So basically it becomes an expensive gadget to do the pour over for me which takes me less than 4 minutes. No thank you.

I’ve tried both Neither keeps the coffee hot enough for me

1. Use the dosing funnel with the PF, 2. grind the beans with the dosing funnel 3. Remove PF with dosing funnel once grinding is complete 4. Use WDT 5. The use a 3rd party tamper like a Normcore 6. Then pull the shot Can the above 6 steps be used with the impress touch? Many Thanks

There are some videos users are having issues that when using the Breville dosing funnel, the optical sensor does not sense the PF in and therefore the grind icon does not turn active on the screen. Did you have this issue? Thanks

In the Netherlands the hot plate switches off after 40 minutes.

there is the sage temp duo at the same price with pid and pre infusion. but the Gaggia Classic is always presented as better. what makes extraction always better than others?

What's the weird plastic cone inside the coffee pitcher? And also let me guess BPA free ? bpa is just a sales pitch, is not really free they use bisphenol b Plastic which is worse. Coffee company should not use plastic of any sort inside of the machine components, the filter holder or inside the pitcher . Due to absorption of micro plastics when heated.

The Charge 5 is much clearer sounding, UE Megaboom has stronger mids though.

Is there any way to get a triple shot basket for gaggia Espresso deluxe which has a 53mm portafilter? It'd need to be deeper as I assume the diameter can't be changed. I've looked online and can't find anything... The max I can get in is 14 g.

I returned this product last month...it doesn't have the 9Bar OPV that most machines have.. Instead, I got Gaggia Classic Pro. I am so satisfied with my new machine. People think Turin Legato's bar gauge and water temperature will help best espresso or easy to use, however these function useless, you will realize what I mean. and... it's just china product but expansive

Do all the K grinders produce the same results? I just ordered the K Ultra. Side note. I've been into the audiophile hobby for the last 4 years. It's pretty amazing how the two hobbies (coffee and hifi audio) intersect. Watching reviews like this.. you could replace a grinder with any hifi audio hear or cable and it'll sound almost the same. :p

I just poked 4 extra length of ukulele strings in a Champagne cork. Works wonder ! Guitar strings or fishing lines do work too.

I can't open the grinder it is stuck. Are there any suggestions?

You didn't discuss the packaging. 🙂 Also Joule is three times the price. I have owned both and have to say they both perform well. I did not like the app only interface on the Joule. Also someone in the house dropped the Joule and the impact was fatal. The all plastic casing cracked and let water in. That was why I bought the Anova.

I was having no issues with my espresso machine with the amount of tamping pressure I've been exerting, but lately for some reason even while tamping at well over 40lbs of pressure my extractions are coming out way too quickly and my "espresso" is extremely weak. What can be causing this?

One thing I didn’t think I needed until I got one is a good knock box wouldn’t be without one now.

I upgraded to this machine from Barista Pro based on this review. I really loved the machine for the first week when it suddenly shut off while steaming. Googling the interwebs showed very concerning situation: these machines are plagued by ER09 error which is caused by short-circuit during steaming. Just FYI.

Great presentation! It’s good to find an independent review and one that’s done so well! There’s no hint of a prepared script, as you come across as someone who knows his material well and doesn’t need a script. It’s well thought out and certainly comes across that way; organized and comprehensive. It’s of value to me in that I just got a DE1XL and have pulled only one shot. I’m debating on whether or not to keep researching or just to jump right in. Your tour of the programs was just what I needed to familiarize myself with the layout. Kudos on this video! I’ll be looking for more. Hoffman & Hendricks, make room for one more!

The problem with the Normcore is that the handle can bottom out on the collar before reaching full pressure. You can see this at (1:17) in the video.

How did you set the fine grinder at the top? on what number?

Thank you for your informative video which resolved this problem on my Breville espresso was so frustrated trying to resolve after cleaning my machine with Breville tablets & descaling liquid twice !!! my clean descale light would not turn off!
